The Pooka creates website for Award-Winning Island Centre
This month, Pooka.Pro are delighted to launch the brand new website for Award-Winning Museum and Arts Centre Taigh Chearsabhagh.
Taigh Chearsabhagh is quite literally on the edge. It stands close to the high-tide mark at the sea’s edge in the village of Lochmaddy, on the Isle of North Uist, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
The centre is a focus for life in North Uist, and welcomes countless visitors each year to experience the arts, culture and heritage of the islands in a friendly and stimulating environment. With an emphasis on community involvement and excellence in the arts, the centre contains two galleries, museum, arts workshop, shop and cafe.
The web development project was part of a wider programme of digital development at the centre, supported by the Amb:IT:ion Scotland programme and Creative Scotland. The video case study of the project below was produced by Rudman Consultants for Amb:IT:ion Scotland.
We are delighted to be working with an organisation whose values are such a good fit with those of Pooka.Pro.
For this project, Pooka.Pro worked with Scottish designer, Jaco Justice, and Canadian WordPress specialist, Deryk Wenaus.
